Continuum is a design studio dedicated to the creation of solutions that are aesthetically fulfilling, graphically informative and visually stimulating. It was founded in 1987 by John Emery Over the years he has sought clients who are passionate about what they do and who appreciate how design at its best, can transforms the words and images into a visual force that can shape the viewers perception of the message and the messenger, give meaning after the moment, and influence our culture.

The term Continuum symbolizes the range of the design capabilities and projects that his studio undertakes. From identity design to environmental graphics, posters to packaging, trademarks to print publications, the projects are as diverse as the location of his studios. The Dayton studio is situated in a converted fieldstone garage. Recently a second studio was established in Burkes Pass, New Zealand, where he lives four months each year. Through collaboration and alliances with other design specialists, he is capable of working on projects in both hemispheres.
